YES!!!! Those are the comments i wish for everyday, and kinda the quality of work i wish to get for meself everyday to. My ultimate goal (as a 3D dude) i reckon is to get to a point where you can't tell my crap from the real thing and its comments like those that really make me feel like i'm actually getting there, slowly but surely.

dude, you are a 3d dude. don't worrd i got your back man, i'll be there ^^. oh yeh, soz i havent been touching cinema 4d much this week, coz i got VP2 and played the whole week and around 6-10 hrs a day lol.
it's a good game dude, and you know it.

yeh, your lego was impressive. but one question dimitry. did you rendered it with hi GI as well, and why did it take more than 30 mins, is it the accuracy or... is it sochastic GI. u know what i don't have my lego collection here MrElusive T_T.

Well firstly you have to note i'm using FinalRender instead of the normal internal Cinema 4D Renderer. Why? Coz its liek 10 times faster. If i did this using normal Cinema 4D renderer, then it would take maybe 3 hours or so to do, and i know it will because i've had to do it before on other stuff which also has stuff like reflection (with HDRI), and refraction and it takes aaages.

When it comes to the scenes i have, well the settings with finalRender are completely different to normal c4d, like there is nothing called "accuracy" in fR, but i try to customise the settings that seem to go quite well with what i'm doing. I've made myself a couple of presets for interior scenes and exterior scenes but what's good about fR is that you can have a literal global illumination, and by that i mean a sky. Not just a "sky" like the normal c4d skies but a physical sky that takes into account Ozone, Water in the air, radius of the earth, bla bla bla.. a lot of stuff to give a physically realistic feel to the scene.

And bro, u should seriously do some lego stuff too. Its real quick and easy. So get the program called LeoCAD (its free as well) and just start building stuff. It's a good idea to get some instructions for stuff and the offical ones you can find (as .pdf files) is at this site. Try making some simple first like a car, just to get the hang of it... oh and change your control settings for LeoCAD as well.. coz my ones, i changed it so its similar to C4D controls so it makes it a lot faster for us that way. cheers brah.

Lol i've been playing heaps too tho, but its like Halo 3 and Kotor:2 (again) so i've been wasting time instead of doing Team Project crap
