Don't worry i know what you mean. It's an easy mistake to make. The only reason i caught it is i noted that they were longer pointing forward, when they're supposed to be longer pointing backwards. That, and I'm a Star Wars Fangirl
How you model these things?!
Well How I can say...
In my computer after 50,000 Poly the progam begin to run slow...
After 100,000 I almost cant work on it...
You don't have this problem?
of course... only i start to notice a slowdown after about a million and a half polys. The imperial Star Destroyer i'm building has to be built in different parts simply coz its way too huge (in terms of polycount.. well into the millions) so that's probably going to end up being about 10 million or so i guess, AND that's with me having to remove a lot of pieces that you you probably wouldn't see anyway.
hmmm.. i wouldn't be surprised if it was 3ds. I've worked with the same models (for some projects in college) in both programs and it seems a lot slower in 3ds. Also i finished my Star Destroyer and found a much better way if importing models so now my star destroyer won't explode my comp.
