speaking of that... i had to change around some of the furniture in my room coz orignally the way i had it, my computer was hotter than a nuclear reactor and being as hot as it is, my graphics card was doing REALLY wierd things like tearing apart any 3D model on the screen (no matter if it's in a game, or website, anything at all) or it would just crash my computer (blue screen by nVidia lol). I had to relocate my external hard drive and the such too to rectify this heat issue of mine but it's all good now. No nuke anymore

you know you modded the droid arms i wish lego made them that way but they just recolored the life on mars guys arms

just this year they revamped the skeletons to have arms that are poseable not just floppy danglers

yeh i figured i had to if i wanted to give them the ability to hold things (any minifig item) vertically instead of horizontally and i even still wonder why Lego designed them in that way in the first place.. it baffles the mind, but i believe this was a necessary mod and is justified by the context. I'm not really a purist but i do belive in modding official pieces to a degree... at least in 3D anyway
decals and the such are ok but i try to steer clear of them as too many of them and you might as well use a barbie doll or something instead. After all, the whole point of using Lego in this manner is it's meant to be a medium that we can interchange in other Lego sets and constructs.

perhaps. I'm thinking of delving a little bit deeper in all this lego stuff i've been doing as of late and maybe do a couple of the famous scenes from the movies (hoth, death star, theed, geonosis, etc.. tho maybe not on such a large scale coz if i have 300 times more pieces in the scene, i'm going to look at 300 times the render-time as well. I'm also playing around with my current rendering system (finalRender Stage 2 -SP3) and seeing if i can achieve some cool effects like glows (that i can use as a lightsaber or something) and to finally give the lego scenes a more theatrical sort of notion rather than the super-realism that it's currently at (super-realism in terms of context, not the quality of my models.. lol.. i wish) tho i want to keep it true to myself in that i do not turn it into looking like the next Lego Star Wars game.
